The Kilts Foundation was established under the will of Alverda Kilts following her death in 1988. Edward and Alverda Kahle Kilts were lifelong residents of Kendall County, residing in Plano for many years.
The Kilts Foundation exists to provide scholarships to High School Seniors entering college. Applicants must either live in Kendall County, Illinois, or attend high school in Kendall County, Illinois. Qualified students wishing to apply should contact their High School Guidance Department to obtain the necessary application forms.
